Anyone can read dealership profiles and experiences. A free DrivrShield account is enough to write about a visit. A paid plan is not required. You can write about a visit even if you did not buy a vehicle.
Write about your own visit. One rating covers one visit. You can edit that rating, and you can add a dated follow-up. A follow-up does not add a second rating.
While this directory is new, a person at DrivrShield reads each new experience before it appears, to check it against these guidelines. Until then only you can see it, and you can still edit it.
An experience is not held back for being negative. The same check applies to positive and negative experiences.
If an experience is not approved, it does not appear. Write to help@drivrshieldai.com if you think that was a mistake.
Do not post ads, repeated copies of the same experience, reviews of a store you did not visit, or anything written to push a rating up or down in bulk. The same limit applies no matter which way the rating points.
Do not review your employer, your own dealership, or a competitor on behalf of a business. Do not accept payment, discounts, or gifts in exchange for a review. Verified dealership representatives may use the labeled response feature.
Do not insult, threaten, or single out a person. Write about the experience at the store. A harsh opinion of the experience can stay. A post aimed at a person does not.
Do not include a phone number, email address, account number, government identification number, or a document that shows any of those. Do not name a private customer. Describe staff by role instead of naming individuals. Home addresses are not allowed.
Describe a visit you had. Do not invent a visit, a purchase, or a service visit. Write in your own words and check every statement. DrivrShield does not generate customer experiences.
A positive experience and a negative experience follow the same rules. A store cannot pay to remove an experience, raise a rating, or change where a listing appears in search. Matching search results are alphabetical by normalized dealership name, with location shown for each store.
Anyone with an account can report an experience for spam, harassment, personal information, or a fabricated visit. A person reviews the report. The decision is recorded. Hiding an experience does not delete the record of the decision.
A dealership may respond after DrivrShield verifies that the person represents that store. The response follows these same rules. It sits under the experience and does not change the rating.
Buyers may email redacted purchase evidence with their review reference for a staff check. The Verified buyer badge confirms supporting evidence of a purchase at this dealership on the stated date. It does not confirm every statement or mean DrivrShield endorses the review or dealership. Positive and negative reviews are eligible under the same rules. Verification gives display priority, never extra rating weight.
An experience is one person’s account of a visit. It is not a promise about a price, a fee, or what a later buyer will be offered. DrivrShield does not tell you whether to sign paperwork. For help reading a sheet, use Ask Dash about the paperwork.
