These DrivrShield AI Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and DrivrShield, LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“DrivrShield,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern the DrivrShield AI application, your account, the free tools, the DrivrShield AI Lite subscription ($9.99 a month), the $19.99 monthly Subscription (DrivrShield AI Pro), in-app content, uploads, notifications, any web interface expressly linked to the app, and, when offered, the SMS/text channel and Deal Pass in Section 3B.
DrivrShield AI is a nationwide automotive education companion. It explains the information you provide and general vehicle topics. It deliberately does not grade a particular deal, direct you to sign, predict what a dealer will accept, negotiate, procure a vehicle, or replace a human Deal Specialist.
1. Definitions
“AI Assistant” means the automated conversational, image-reading, document-extraction, explanation, comparison, calculation, and drafting functions in the App. It is not a human.
“App” means the DrivrShield AI application and the app-connected services covered by these Terms. “Subscription” or “DrivrShield AI Pro” means the $19.99 monthly auto-renewing paid Access purchased through an authorized billing channel. “DrivrShield AI Lite” (“Lite”) means the separate $9.99 monthly auto-renewing paid Access to the AI Assistant within a monthly Ask quota (text only), and to Fee Check, Recall Check and the Dealer Fee Map, described in Section 4A. “Paid Plan” means the Subscription or Lite; an Account has at most one active Paid Plan (Section 4A).
“Ask” means one completed user turn that consumes a model answer under DrivrShield’s server meter. Multi-vehicle Compare or similar flows count as the product meter defines and discloses. Client-side counters are not controlling.
“Deal Materials” means dealer worksheets, pencils, buyer orders, quotes, advertisements, financing figures, vehicle-history reports, repair estimates, images, screenshots, messages, and other content you submit.
“Human Deal Analysis” means the separate $49.99 one-time service, or another separately identified human-service package, in which a real Deal Specialist reviews an eligible vehicle proposal under separate order terms. Human Deal Analysis is a separately priced $49.99 one-time service performed by real people on the DrivrShield team, never by AI. It does not include AI Subscription months. It is sold on the website (currently Florida) when checkout is available. On iPhone, you may submit an inquiry in the App, and a Deal Specialist will contact you. Human Deal Analysis is not sold or priced as an Apple in-app purchase. The price and order terms are shown before you buy on the website. Eligible Orders may qualify for the $500 Potential Savings Guarantee under the Guarantee Rules. Human Deal Analysis is a separate one-time purchase and does not include app or SMS AI access. AI access requires the Subscription (DrivrShield AI Pro), DrivrShield AI Lite within its monthly Ask quota, the free monthly Asks of a signed-in Account (Section 4A), a Deal Pass, or other access the Company expressly grants. Human Deal Analysis is not included in the Subscription or Lite; the Subscription includes a monthly $10 certificate toward it (Section 4A).
“$500 Guarantee” means the separate Potential Savings Guarantee described in the Guarantee Rules. It never applies to the App, the free tools, DrivrShield AI Lite, the Subscription, the AI Assistant, or ordinary AI output.
2. Eligibility and personal use
You must be at least 18 years old, reside in the United States, and be able to enter a contract. The App is for personal, noncommercial vehicle-shopping, vehicle-ownership, and automotive-education use.
You may not use the App for a dealership, lender, repair chain, broker, lead generator, data reseller, claim administrator, competing product, or other commercial intermediary without our written permission. One account is for one natural person unless the plan description expressly states otherwise.
3. Acceptance and electronic records
On the website, you accept these Terms by checking an unchecked box linked directly to them and completing enrollment. In our iPhone app (including on an iPad), you accept them by tapping Subscribe on a screen that shows the price, the length, the renewal terms (including that payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm, that the Subscription renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and that renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends), how to cancel, and links to these Terms and the Privacy Policy, and then confirming the purchase with Apple. DrivrShield AI Lite in our iPhone app is accepted the same way, on a screen that shows its own price and its monthly renewal period. On the website, a switch between DrivrShield AI Lite and the Subscription is accepted by checking an unchecked box that shows the switch’s own charge authorization. Mere download, passive use, a footer link, or a prechecked box does not authorize recurring billing. By completing enrollment, you electronically sign the Terms and the recurring-charge authorization shown for your billing channel.
You consent to receive the Terms, order confirmation, receipts, renewal and price notices, cancellation confirmation, material service notices, and other required records electronically. You may download or print them. This consent does not authorize marketing calls or texts.
We preserve the accepted version of the Terms, the date and time of acceptance, your account identifiers, the price and billing channel, the checkbox (website) or Subscribe confirmation (app) and purchase events, and a reproducible copy of the material terms displayed at enrollment.
3B. SMS / Text Channel and Deal Pass
3B.1 Channel
DrivrShield may offer an SMS/text channel (“Text Dash”) to U.S. mobile numbers only, when a registered messaging brand/number is live. Text Dash uses the same automated AI assistant as the app. It is not a human Deal Specialist, not Human Deal Analysis, and not eligible for the $500 Potential Savings Guarantee.
3B.2 Free messages
Each U.S. phone number (per ownership epoch) receives five (5) free successful AI answers, lifetime, not monthly. STOP, HELP, failed sends, system errors, and payment-pending messages do not consume a free message. After the five free answers, continued SMS use requires a Deal Pass or a verified link of that phone to an active DrivrShield AI Pro Subscription ($19.99/month).
3B.3 Deal Pass (one-time)
The paid SMS product is the Deal Pass: US $15.99 one-time (plus tax if disclosed), for fourteen (14) days of SMS access measured from payment confirmation (access_until = paid_at + 14 days). Deal Pass is not a subscription, does not auto-renew, and is not DrivrShield AI Pro.
3B.4 Grant of access
Deal Pass access is granted only after the Company receives a successful payment webhook. Returning from a payment page does not by itself unlock access.
3B.5 After expiry
When Deal Pass ends, SMS access stops (except legally required notices). The Company may send a soft upsell to DrivrShield AI Pro ($19.99/month) or Human Deal Analysis ($49.99). There is no automatic charge and no second five-message free trial on that number after a Deal Pass or after free messages are used.
3B.6 App members
If you have an active DrivrShield AI Pro Subscription and OTP-verify the same phone to your account, SMS access is included without buying a Deal Pass, for as long as that Subscription and verified link remain active. DrivrShield AI Lite does not include SMS access.
3B.7 STOP vs billing
Reply STOP to stop SMS. STOP does not create a refund obligation for a one-time Deal Pass already purchased. Reply HELP for help. Msg frequency varies; msg & data rates may apply.
3B.8 No public number until registered
The Company will not publish a Text Dash number or SMS marketing CTA until messaging brand/number registration (e.g., 10DLC) is live.
3B.9 Photos / MMS
Optional MMS (e.g., sticker or add-on sheet photos) is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy, size/type limits, and Privacy Policy retention. Do not text SSNs, full card numbers, government IDs, or unrelated sensitive data.
3B.10 Required notices
When Text Dash is live, the first SMS states: You’re texting Dash, DrivrShield’s automated AI assistant, not a person and not the $500 Guarantee. U.S. only. This number gets 5 free answers, then a $15.99 Deal Pass for 14 days of texting (one-time, not a subscription). Already on DrivrShield AI Pro? Link this phone in your account instead. Reply STOP to stop texts, HELP for help. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Privacy: Privacy Policy.
A Deal Pass payment page, when offered, states: $15.99 one-time Deal Pass, 14 days of Text Dash from payment confirmation. Not a subscription. Not DrivrShield AI Pro. Not Human Deal Analysis. AI answers are automated and not Guarantee-eligible. Access unlocks after payment confirms (not merely when you return from checkout).
When a Deal Pass ends, any notice states: Your Deal Pass ended. Continue with DrivrShield AI Pro ($19.99/month), or get a Human Deal Analysis ($49.99 one-time). No automatic charge.
4. The $19.99 monthly Subscription
The free tools and DrivrShield AI Lite are described in Section 4A. The paid Subscription (DrivrShield AI Pro) is separate. It costs $19.99 per month plus applicable tax and automatically renews each month until canceled. The first charge occurs when enrollment is confirmed unless a trial is expressly disclosed. Later charges occur according to your billing channel’s renewal schedule.
The Subscription provides personal access to the App’s deal-literacy, vehicle-history-literacy, vehicle-knowledge, ownership, and maintenance features, with no monthly Ask quota, plus upload features as disclosed in Section 4A, subject to the disclosed technical and fair-use limits. It does not include human Deal Specialist time, a deal grade, a human counter-offer, dealer contact, a live consultation, a Human Deal Analysis, a higher package, a third-party paid report, or any Guarantee unless a written checkout expressly adds a separately priced benefit. It includes everything in DrivrShield AI Lite.
We may add, remove, improve, or replace nonmaterial features. We will not silently remove the central paid value of the plan or convert a separately priced service into an undisclosed recurring charge. Material adverse changes receive notice and any remedy required by law.
Price changes. The Subscription price may change. The price displayed at enrollment is the price you pay until we give you the advance notice described in Section 21. A price increase never takes effect for an existing subscriber without that notice and, where law or the billing channel requires it, your renewed consent. For an Apple-billed Subscription, Section 20A.8 applies. The same applies to the DrivrShield AI Lite price.
No Guarantee. Paying for the Subscription or DrivrShield AI Lite, uploading a worksheet, or receiving an AI explanation never activates the $500 Guarantee.
4A. Free tools, DrivrShield AI Lite, and DrivrShield AI Pro
Free tools and free Asks. The Packed Payment Detector, the out-the-door calculator, and the guides are free and need no Account. The calculators run in your browser, and what you type in them is not sent to us unless you take your numbers to another tool. A signed-in Account without a Paid Plan may use the AI Assistant for three (3) Asks per calendar month (America/New_York / Eastern), by typed text only, and may also use Shield up by typing the figures in (Section 5A). Unused free Asks do not carry over. Free use does not include uploads, Fee Check, Recall Check, the Dealer Fee Map, Compare, the pre-visit briefing, or the Garage. Free Asks are automated, not human-reviewed, and not eligible for the $500 Potential Savings Guarantee.
DrivrShield AI Lite. An active DrivrShield AI Lite subscription at US $9.99 per month (plus applicable tax) includes the AI Assistant for up to thirty (30) Asks per calendar month (America/New_York / Eastern), by typed text only, and Fee Check, Recall Check and the Dealer Fee Map. It renews automatically each month until canceled. The first charge occurs when enrollment is confirmed unless a trial is expressly disclosed, and each renewal is charged at the start of the next monthly period. It requires a signed-in Account. Unused Asks do not carry over. Lite does not include photo, document or PDF uploads, Compare, the pre-visit briefing, the Garage, Shield up photo reads and reminders, SMS access, or the Human Deal Analysis certificate. Lite’s answers and tools are automated, not human-reviewed, and not eligible for the $500 Potential Savings Guarantee.
DrivrShield AI Pro. An active paid Subscription at US $19.99 per month (plus applicable tax) includes the AI Assistant with no monthly Ask quota (“unlimited Asks” for ordinary personal use), upload features as enabled and disclosed at purchase or in-product, Compare, the pre-visit briefing, the Garage, Shield up photo reads and reminders (Section 5A), and everything in DrivrShield AI Lite. As currently metered: 40 photo uploads per calendar month (America/New_York / Eastern) and a daily burst guard of 40 messages per day (days reset at midnight UTC). “Unlimited” means no monthly Ask quota. It does not waive the acceptable-use, abuse, rate, or security limits in these Terms, and does not promise SLA uptime or concurrent capacity. It is not a claim that every resource is uncapped. Answers remain AI-generated and not human-reviewed, and are not eligible for the $500 Potential Savings Guarantee. It also includes one $10 certificate toward a Human Deal Analysis for each calendar month (Eastern time) in which the Subscription is active. The certificate is applied automatically when you order a Human Deal Analysis on our website during that month while your Subscription is active. Certificates do not carry over or combine, have no cash value, and end when the Subscription ends.
One Paid Plan. An Account has at most one active Paid Plan. On our website, changing plans changes your one website Paid Plan: moving from DrivrShield AI Lite to the Subscription takes effect immediately, and the unused part of your current Lite period is credited against the first Subscription charge, which is made at once; moving from the Subscription to Lite takes effect at the end of the Subscription period you already paid for, when the first Lite charge is made. Either switch is shown, with its charge authorization, before you confirm it. In our iPhone app the two are one Apple subscription group, and Apple’s upgrade and downgrade rules apply (Section 20A.10). A Paid Plan billed on our website and one billed by Apple are never combined (Section 20A.7).
Human Deal Analysis.
5. Deal-literacy features
The App can read a photograph or upload of a dealership worksheet and explain the figures shown, such as vehicle price, stated dealer fee, taxes, government charges, trade figures, optional products, GAP, service contracts, protection packages, APR, amount financed, finance charge, term, payment, and total of payments.
The App can explain common selling structures and tactics (payment packing, term stretching, four-square presentations, add-on bundling, payment-focused framing, or conditional pricing) and can draft questions or phrases you may choose to use. A label describes a general pattern; it is not a finding that a particular dealer committed fraud, violated law, or intentionally deceived anyone.
The AI does not decide whether a specific deal is good or bad, issue a proprietary grade, deliver a formal counter-offer, tell you to sign or reject a transaction, or predict a dealer’s response. When you request a specific deal judgment, the App can explain the components and, on the website, offer a link to the separately priced Human Deal Analysis or, in the iPhone app, an inquiry form (inquiry only, not an in-app purchase).
Deal timeline. When the App reads more than one worksheet, buyer’s order, quote, or contract for the same deal, it can show what changed between them. A change it shows compares what it read; it is not a finding that a dealer changed terms improperly.
Watch links. You may create a link that lets someone you choose follow a deal without an account. Anyone who has the link can see the vehicle and the store, the deal timeline, what changed between sheets, and the questions the App suggested. They cannot see the VIN, your documents or photos, your name, or anything else on your account. A watcher can leave short notes, which are saved on your deal and, where notifications are available and turned on, sent to you as a notification. You choose who gets a link and are responsible for sharing it. You can revoke a link at any time, and it stops working right away. A deal can have up to 10 active links. A watcher’s notes are their own words, not DrivrShield’s, and we may remove a note that breaks Section 18.
5A. Shield up
Shield up is a workspace for the finance-office part of a purchase. Any signed-in member can use it by typing the figures in. Reading a photo of a menu or contract, and reminders, require the Subscription (DrivrShield AI Pro); DrivrShield AI Lite does not include them. Shield up includes up to five (5) camera reads per calendar month (America/New_York / Eastern). Typing the figures in is not limited.
Menus and contracts. You may photograph a finance-office product menu or the retail installment contract, or type the products and prices yourself. The App shows the products, prices, and loan terms it reads for you to check. A read can miss or misread a line; the documents you sign control (Section 13).
Payment math. Monthly, total, and over-the-term figures are estimates. They assume fixed monthly amortization at the stated APR, equal payments for the full term, and each included product financed at the same rate and term, and they exclude additional taxes and fees. A lender’s figures and payment timing can differ. A “cost avoided” or “stays in your pocket” figure is an estimate, not a refund or a promise of savings.
Typical dealer cost. Where shown, a typical dealer-cost range comes from a named, dated, published source that we review before it appears. It is a general range. It is never the cost at a particular dealership and is not a statement of what a dealer will accept.
Contract comparison. Shield up compares what it reads from your contract with the choices you made earlier, line by line and by arithmetic. That comparison is not a legal review. It does not decide whether a contract is valid, lawful, or enforceable, and a difference it shows is not a finding that anyone acted improperly.
What you tell the desk. Shield up can show a short summary of your choices to read or show to the finance manager. You decide what to say and what to sign. DrivrShield does not contact the dealer.
Cancellation letters. Shield up can fill in a cancellation-request template for a product you bought. It is a template you review, edit, and send yourself. DrivrShield does not send it, does not represent you, and does not promise a refund. The product’s contract sets the cancellation method, deadline, any fee, and the refund amount. The template is not legal advice.
Reminders. When offered, a reminder is a push notification sent before a product’s cancellation window closes. Its date is based on the signing date you enter and a typical cancellation window for that kind of product (30 days when none is known). Your product’s contract may set a shorter or longer window, and that contract controls. Delivery depends on your device, its settings, and services we do not control. A reminder is a convenience; you remain responsible for every deadline in your contracts.
6. Vehicle-history literacy
You may upload or paste an authorized CARFAX, AutoCheck, or similar vehicle-history report for explanation. The App can explain terms such as salvage, rebuilt, flood, lemon, odometer, total loss, structural damage, accident, damage reported, ownership event, service entry, and title brand in general language.
The App is not affiliated with or endorsed by any vehicle-history provider unless expressly disclosed. It does not create, verify, replace, or certify the source report. A clean report does not prove that a vehicle is damage-free, mechanically sound, properly repaired, safe, or free of title or mileage problems. An adverse entry does not by itself establish current condition or legal noncompliance.
Review the original report, verify the vehicle identification number, use official title and recall resources, and obtain an independent physical inspection when appropriate. Third-party report terms and licensing restrictions remain applicable.
7. Vehicle knowledge and comparisons
The App can explain and compare published crash ratings, horsepower, torque, estimated acceleration, towing capacity, payload, fuel economy, dimensions, trim levels, features, recalls, reliability information, and other specifications.
Specifications vary by model year, trim, powertrain, equipment, tires, configuration, testing method, geography, software version, and source. Towing and payload values depend on the exact configuration and operating conditions. Crash ratings from different programs, years, vehicle classes, or test protocols may not be directly comparable.
Verify material specifications with the manufacturer, the vehicle label, the owner’s manual, an official safety source, and the exact vehicle before purchase or use. The App’s comparative answers are educational and are not an endorsement, ranking guarantee, inspection, or safety certification.
8. Ownership, maintenance, and repair-price guidance
The App can explain maintenance intervals, dashboard terms, vehicle parts, common repair categories, labor and parts concepts, and general repair-price ranges. It can help you identify questions to ask a repair facility, such as what failed, how it was diagnosed, whether parts are original-equipment or aftermarket, which labor operations are included, and whether the estimate includes taxes and shop supplies.
Repair-price information is a general range, not a quote, appraisal, diagnosis, authorization, or promise that a shop’s price is fair. Actual cost depends on the vehicle, location, labor rate, parts quality and availability, taxes, diagnostic time, corrosion, related damage, warranty coverage, and work discovered after disassembly.
The App does not instruct a repair facility, authorize work, inspect a part, verify a diagnosis, determine warranty coverage, or resolve a dispute. Obtain an in-person assessment from a qualified repair provider when needed.
Garage. With the Subscription, you may save vehicles to the Garage and keep a service log, maintenance schedule, odometer readings, and receipt photos.
- Recalls. Recall information comes from NHTSA and is matched to your vehicle’s year, make, and model (taken from the VIN when you enter one), not to your individual VIN. A recall campaign may cover a model without covering your vehicle, and NHTSA data can be delayed or incomplete. Recall and service-reminder emails you turn on are a convenience. If no email arrives, that does not mean there is no recall. Check nhtsa.gov/recalls, contact your manufacturer, and act on any notice you receive.
- Service reminders. Due dates are estimates based on the mileage and service dates you enter. Follow your owner’s manual and the manufacturer’s schedule.
- Values and equity. Market-value and equity figures are estimates based on dealer listings and the information you enter. They are not an appraisal, a trade-in or purchase offer, or a statement of what anyone will pay.
- Ownership record. The ownership-record PDF is a copy of what your Garage holds for the vehicle, for your convenience. It is not a vehicle-history report, title record, inspection, or certification, and DrivrShield does not verify its entries.
9. Critical mechanical-safety rule
The App will not state that a vehicle is safe to drive, that a warning is harmless, or that a noise, vibration, odor, leak, warning light, braking issue, steering issue, tire issue, overheating condition, fuel concern, electrical symptom, visibility problem, airbag concern, or other safety-related symptom can be ignored.
For a possible safety issue, the App may describe general possibilities and will direct you to stop relying on the chat and obtain prompt in-person help from a qualified repair or roadside provider. If continued operation may create immediate danger, move away from traffic only if it can be done safely and contact emergency or roadside assistance. Do not use the App as an emergency service.
A chat cannot observe the vehicle, test components, read all diagnostic data, evaluate severity, account for road conditions, or protect occupants and others. You remain responsible for deciding not to operate a vehicle when safety is uncertain.
10. AI disclosure and limitations
You are interacting with an automated AI system unless the interface expressly identifies a human. AI output may be incomplete, outdated, inconsistent, or wrong. It may misread a photograph, omit a line, confuse a vehicle or model year, perform incorrect arithmetic, rely on stale data, or produce a confident-sounding statement without adequate support.
Ordinary App output is not reviewed by a Deal Specialist. Human review occurs only in a separately purchased Human Deal Analysis or a higher package that expressly includes it.
No AI answer changes these Terms, waives a fee, creates a refund, activates a Guarantee, binds DrivrShield, or binds a dealer, lender, manufacturer, repair facility, insurer, history provider, app store, or other third party.
11. No professional, dealer, broker, or financing role
DrivrShield does not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, insurance, safety, mechanical, inspection, appraisal, title, or individualized financial advice. The App does not determine legal compliance or replace a qualified provider.
DrivrShield does not sell, lease, list, advertise for sale, source, locate, procure, reserve, transport, inspect, repair, warrant, or take title to a vehicle. It does not contact or negotiate with a dealer for you, transmit an offer, handle a deposit or purchase money, sign a document, participate in delivery, or accept transaction-contingent compensation.
DrivrShield does not offer, originate, arrange, coordinate, broker, place, negotiate, service, or guarantee financing. It does not take or transmit a credit application, pull or buy a credit report or score, select or match a lender, lock a rate, make a credit decision, or provide credit repair.
12. Independence and third-party names
DrivrShield is independent and is not sponsored, controlled, endorsed, or authorized by any dealership, manufacturer, lender, repair facility, insurer, warranty provider, vehicle-history provider, valuation provider, app store, trade association, or government agency unless expressly disclosed.
Third-party names and marks are used only to identify the vehicle, report, product, specification, rating, or source being discussed. References to CARFAX, AutoCheck, Kelley Blue Book, Black Book, Apple, Google, NHTSA, or another source do not imply affiliation or licensed data access.
13. Your decisions and final documents
You alone decide whether to shop for, buy, lease, finance, refinance, trade, insure, repair, maintain, modify, operate, tow with, or accept delivery of a vehicle. DrivrShield is not a party to any purchase, lease, credit, deposit, trade, repair, warranty, service-contract, GAP, insurance, or protection-product agreement.
Read every final document. Verify the vehicle and condition; price; fees; taxes; APR; finance charge; amount financed; term; payment; total of payments; trade value and payoff; add-ons; cancellation rights; title; history; recalls; insurance; repair authorization; and warranty terms. Third-party final documents control their transaction.
Do not treat an App answer as permission to sign, drive, tow, repair, decline a repair, miss a deadline, waive a right, or ignore a warning. Pause and seek appropriate in-person or licensed help when the stakes require it.
14. Your uploads and permissions
You are responsible for complete, current, legible, and accurate uploads. You represent that you own or are authorized to submit the material and that our permitted processing will not violate another person’s rights or a report license.
Do not submit stolen, forged, altered, unlawfully recorded, malicious, deceptive, privileged, or improperly disclosed material. We may reject, quarantine, delete, or request correction of content that appears unsafe, unauthorized, unrelated, or unreadable.
You retain the rights you own. You grant DrivrShield a limited, nonexclusive license to host, copy, convert, extract, analyze, display, transmit to approved processors, and generate outputs from the material in order to provide, secure, support, document, and improve the service as disclosed; investigate misuse; comply with law; and establish or defend claims.
Dealer Fee Index. If you agree when asked, each worksheet, buyer’s order, quote, or contract the App reads afterward adds its dealer-fee, add-on, and finance-office product lines to the Dealer Fee Index. It records the amounts, the labels as printed, whether the sheet says an item was installed before the sale, the store’s name, city, and state, and the month. The records carry no name or account: your name, your account, the vehicle, its VIN, your price, and the day are never included. You grant DrivrShield a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to use, combine, and publish those records in aggregate in the Dealer Fee Index and the Dealer Fee Map until you withdraw them or delete your account. When you withdraw them or delete your account, the records your sheets added are removed. Saying no changes nothing else about the service. A store’s figure appears in the published index only when photographed sheets from three or more different members support it. If you add a store that is not listed, the name, city, and state you type may be shown to other members when they search for stores.
15. Sensitive information and device permissions
Redact unnecessary personal information. Do not upload a complete Social Security number, bank or payment-card number, password, account login, one-time authentication code, driver’s-license image, signature image, complete credit application, medical information, biometric identifier, or unrelated information about another person.
Camera, photo-library, file, notification, and similar device permissions are used only as disclosed by your operating system and the Privacy Policy. You may deny or later revoke an optional permission, although the related feature may stop working. DrivrShield will never request a banking, lender, dealer-system, or device password.
16. Accounts and security
Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, use multifactor authentication when offered, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Do not share an account, evade usage limits through multiple accounts, or allow another person to use your Subscription for a commercial purpose.
No system is perfectly secure. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to our operations and published practices, but we do not guarantee that every transmission, device, provider, or account is immune from compromise. Report security concerns to help@drivrshieldai.com.
17. AI providers, human access, and training
We use approved AI, OCR, hosting, storage, analytics, crash-reporting, payment, support, and communications providers, identified by service category in the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy describes the information categories, purposes, disclosures, retention, and your state rights.
Authorized people may access content for support, safety, security, abuse investigation, quality assurance, or a separately purchased human service. Access is role-based, logged where feasible, limited to need, and subject to confidentiality and deletion controls.
We do not permit general-model training on identifiable customer content without your separate, optional, informed consent, as described in the Privacy Policy.
18. Usage limits and prohibited conduct
The free tools, DrivrShield AI Lite and the Subscription are subject to the Ask, image, document, storage, rate, and technical limits disclosed in Section 4A and displayed before purchase or in the plan description. “Unlimited Asks” means no monthly Ask quota for the Subscription (DrivrShield AI Pro). DrivrShield AI Lite and free use have the monthly Ask quotas disclosed in Section 4A, and unused Asks do not carry over. It does not uncap photo uploads, daily burst guards, or other disclosed limits. Look-ups of a store’s online listings and of market listings are subject to monthly and daily fair-use limits for each account. The product says so when one is reached. We will not use an undisclosed limit to contradict a disclosed claim.
- Do not use the App for fraud, forged records, impersonation, harassment, threats, discrimination, collusion, price fixing, unlawful surveillance, or evasion of law.
- Do not upload malware, credentials, stolen content, or another person’s private information without authority.
- Do not represent AI output as an official dealer, lender, manufacturer, government, vehicle-history, inspection, appraisal, diagnostic, repair, or safety determination.
- Do not scrape, reverse engineer, extract model behavior, bypass controls, overload the service, share credentials, resell access, or use outputs to train or benchmark a competing AI system.
- Do not use the App to make a consequential decision about another person’s credit, insurance, employment, housing, health, education, essential services, or legal rights.
19. Ownership and license
DrivrShield owns or licenses the App, software, prompts, workflows, designs, text, explanations, scoring methods reserved for human services, checklists, deal-sheet formats, graphics, report formats, service names, and other content. Subject to payment and these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for personal use.
You may not copy, publish at scale, modify, distribute, sublicense, sell, rent, lease, remove notices, create a derivative commercial service, reverse engineer, or exploit the App except to the limited extent a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
AI output may not be unique, and another user may receive similar material. We do not promise exclusive rights or clearance in generated wording. Review output before sending, publishing, or relying on it.
20. Billing and automatic renewal
The Subscription is $19.99 per month plus applicable tax and renews automatically until canceled. Before enrollment, the subscribe screen shows the amount, frequency, renewal terms, included service, material limits, any trial or promotion terms, and how to cancel, and links to these Terms, which give the refund rules (Sections 20A.5 and 23). We obtain your express informed consent before the charge.
DrivrShield AI Lite is $9.99 per month plus applicable tax and renews automatically each month until canceled. Before enrollment, its subscribe screen shows the same information for Lite, and we obtain your express informed consent before the charge.
If you subscribe through our website, Stripe charges the authorized payment method on or about the same calendar day each month. The same applies to DrivrShield AI Lite. If you subscribe in our iPhone app (including on an iPad), Apple bills you through your Apple ID as described in Section 20A, and Apple shows the authoritative renewal date. Google Play in-app purchase is not offered at this time. If it is later offered, Google Play will process that billing under its own terms.
Signing out, disabling notifications, removing a device, deleting the App, or requesting data deletion does not by itself cancel an Apple-billed Subscription. Signing out, disabling notifications, or removing a device does not cancel a website Subscription either. To stop future charges, cancel a website Subscription on your Account page at drivrshieldai.com in a web browser, and cancel an Apple-billed Subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings. The same applies to DrivrShield AI Lite.
20A. Subscriptions purchased through Apple
20A.1 Who bills you. If you subscribe inside the DrivrShield AI iPhone app (including on an iPad), you buy the Subscription through Apple’s App Store in-app purchase. Apple is the seller of record for that purchase. Apple charges the payment method on your Apple ID, not DrivrShield, and Apple’s terms and your Apple ID settings govern that billing. DrivrShield provides the Subscription service described in these Terms. DrivrShield AI Lite bought in our iPhone app is an Apple in-app purchase too. In this Section 20A, what applies to the Subscription applies to DrivrShield AI Lite as well, except its price (20A.2) and what it includes (20A.9).
20A.2 Price. The App Store shows the price before you confirm, in your Apple ID’s currency. In the United States the Subscription is intended to be $19.99 per month, plus any tax Apple collects. DrivrShield AI Lite is intended to be $9.99 per month, plus any tax Apple collects. Because Apple sets and displays store prices and handles tax, the amount Apple shows may differ from the price shown on our website. You pay the amount Apple shows when you confirm.
20A.3 Automatic renewal and charge timing. The Subscription lasts one month and renews automatically each month until you cancel. DrivrShield AI Lite lasts one month and renews automatically each month until you cancel. Apple charges your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. Apple then charges each renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
20A.4 How to manage or cancel. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. You can also use the Manage subscription link in the app. Deleting the app, signing out, turning off notifications, or deleting your DrivrShield account does not cancel an Apple-billed Subscription. DrivrShield cannot cancel Apple billing for you. After you cancel, you normally keep paid access until the end of the period you already paid for.
20A.5 Refunds for Apple charges. Apple handles refunds for charges it bills, under Apple’s policies. Request one from Apple, for example at reportaproblem.apple.com. DrivrShield cannot issue refunds for Apple-billed charges. If you think a charge happened because we failed to provide the paid service, email help@drivrshieldai.com. We will help you with your Apple request and provide any remedy the law requires.
20A.6 Restore purchases. If you reinstall the app, change devices, or don’t see paid access, sign in to the same DrivrShield account and tap Restore purchases. Apple-billed access is linked to the DrivrShield account that was signed in when you subscribed. Restoring on a different DrivrShield account may move that access to the account you are signed in to.
20A.7 One Paid Plan per account: web and Apple. The Subscription gives you the same paid access whether you pay on our website (Stripe) or through Apple, and so does DrivrShield AI Lite. Keep only one active Paid Plan (the Subscription or DrivrShield AI Lite) per account. If you already pay on our website, don’t also subscribe in the app. You won’t get extra access, and each channel bills separately. To switch channels, cancel the old one first and let its paid period end:
- Website (Stripe): use Cancel subscription on your Account page at drivrshieldai.com in a web browser, or email help@drivrshieldai.com.
- Apple: use your Apple ID subscription settings as described in 20A.4.
If you end up with two active Paid Plans for one account, email help@drivrshieldai.com. We will cancel and refund the website charge for the overlapping period, and you can ask Apple about the Apple charge.
20A.8 Price changes. If the Apple price changes, Apple notifies you as its rules require. Where Apple or the law requires your consent to a higher price, the Subscription won’t renew at the new price unless you agree. Section 21 still applies.
20A.9 What is and isn’t included. An Apple-billed Subscription includes the same access as a website Subscription (Sections 3B.6, 4 and 4A), including unlimited Asks (no monthly Ask quota) for ordinary personal use, and worksheet and other photo uploads up to the disclosed limit (currently 40 a month, America/New_York), subject to the disclosed daily and fair-use limits. It does not include Human Deal Analysis, a Deal Pass, the $500 Potential Savings Guarantee, or any human review. DrivrShield AI Lite bought through Apple includes the same access as DrivrShield AI Lite bought on our website (Section 4A), and no more: the AI Assistant for up to thirty (30) Asks per calendar month, text only, and Fee Check, Recall Check and the Dealer Fee Map; no uploads, Compare, pre-visit briefing, Garage, or SMS access.
20A.10 Changing plans in the App. DrivrShield AI Pro and DrivrShield AI Lite are one Apple subscription group, so your Apple ID holds one of them at a time. Moving from Lite to DrivrShield AI Pro takes effect immediately, and Apple credits or refunds the unused part of your Lite period under its rules. Moving from DrivrShield AI Pro to Lite takes effect at your next renewal date, and you keep DrivrShield AI Pro until then. Apple shows the change before you confirm it, and you can change plans or cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings (20A.4).
21. Trials, promotions, and price changes
No trial, discounted first month, annual plan, or promotional conversion exists unless the enrollment screen states the duration, initial price, conversion date, ongoing price, eligibility, and cancellation deadline before enrollment.
We will give the notice required by your billing channel and applicable law before a recurring price increase or a materially adverse renewal change. Where new consent is required, the change will not take effect without it. Benefits and promotional credits expire only as disclosed and have no cash value. For an Apple-billed Subscription, Apple sends price-increase notices and asks for any required consent under its own rules (see Section 20A.8). This applies to DrivrShield AI Lite as it does to the Subscription.
22. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time. For a website Subscription, use Cancel subscription on your Account page at drivrshieldai.com in a web browser. For a Subscription bought in our iPhone app (including on an iPad), cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings (Settings > your name > Subscriptions) at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next charge. Google Play billing is not offered at this time. DrivrShield AI Lite is canceled the same way: on your Account page for a website Lite subscription, or in your Apple ID subscription settings for one bought in our iPhone app.
Cancellation stops future renewals and normally leaves access through the current paid period. We will not require a retention call, a questionnaire, or an additional offer before accepting a direct cancellation. A website cancellation receives a durable confirmation from us; Apple confirms cancellations it processes.
If you cannot access your account, contact help@drivrshieldai.com. We will provide reasonable assistance with website billing. We cannot cancel Apple billing for you, because Apple does not let developers do that. We will explain how to cancel it in your Apple ID settings.
23. Refunds and billing errors
For website charges, except for an unauthorized or duplicate charge, failure to deliver the paid service, an express promotion, or a nonwaivable right, Subscription and DrivrShield AI Lite fees are nonrefundable and are not prorated for partial use, unused features, deletion of the App, a vehicle purchase, or a decision not to use the service. For Apple charges, see Section 20A.5. The credit for the unused part of a Lite period when you move from Lite to the Subscription on our website (Section 4A) is not a refund.
DrivrShield handles refunds for website charges billed through Stripe. Contact help@drivrshieldai.com with your account email, the charge date, the amount, and the issue. Apple controls refunds for charges it bills. Request those from Apple under Apple’s policies, as described in Section 20A.5, because DrivrShield cannot issue a refund for an Apple-billed charge. Nothing in these Terms waives a chargeback or statutory remedy. When a website charge for the current period of your Paid Plan is refunded in full or disputed, that Paid Plan ends. A charge for an earlier period, or for a plan you have since changed from, ends nothing. If the dispute is resolved in our favor, or the refund does not go through, the Paid Plan it ended returns until the end of the period that charge paid for, without renewing.
The $500 Guarantee does not create a refund right for any $19.99 Subscription charge or DrivrShield AI Lite charge. A Guarantee refund, if earned by an eligible human service, concerns only the separately disclosed human-service fee and follows the Guarantee Rules and the applicable payment channel.
24. Notifications and communications
The App may send account, security, billing, upload, support, and service notifications, and the notifications you turn on: Garage recall and service-reminder emails, Shield up reminders, and notes from someone watching your deal. Push notifications are controlled through the App and your device settings. Transactional messages are not marketing consent. A notification can be delayed or fail to arrive; do not rely on one alone for a deadline or a safety recall.
Marketing email, automated or prerecorded calls, and marketing texts require separate consent where applicable; marketing consent is never a condition of purchase. You may use the stated unsubscribe or STOP method. We will not record a call or video session without the notice and consent required where participants are located.
Text Dash, when offered, follows Section 3B. The first message identifies Dash as an automated AI assistant, not a person and not the $500 Guarantee. Reply STOP to stop SMS and HELP for help. STOP does not refund a one-time Deal Pass already purchased. Deal Pass is one-time and does not auto-renew. This version does not send marketing SMS blasts without a separate consent we can record outside a pre-checked reply.
25. Privacy and state requests
The Privacy Policy governs personal-information practices, including uploads, photos, chat content, device and usage data, providers, retention, security, deletion, advertising status, and state rights. These Terms do not replace it.
We provide a nationwide process for access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, opt-out, and appeal where applicable, with identity verification and authorized-agent procedures. Subscription cancellation, account deletion, and privacy deletion are separate actions, except that deleting your account also cancels an active website Subscription or website DrivrShield AI Lite. It does not cancel an Apple-billed Subscription or Lite (Section 20A.4). Each is explained where you take it.
26. Availability, updates, and mobile data
The App requires a compatible device, a supported operating system, an internet connection, and sufficient storage. Carrier data and messaging charges may apply. We may require updates for security, compatibility, or material functionality and may stop supporting obsolete versions after reasonable notice when practical.
No uptime or response-time promise applies unless expressly stated. Third-party AI, data, history, safety, store, hosting, or network services may be unavailable. When a material source or function is unavailable, the App is designed to fail safely rather than fabricate a result.
27. App-store terms
27.1 Apple. If you downloaded the App from Apple’s App Store, Apple is not a party to these Terms and does not provide the App’s content, the Human Deal Analysis, or the Guarantee. Your license to use the App on Apple-branded products is limited as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions (including Family Sharing where applicable). Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. To the extent required, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you. Purchases, renewals, plan changes, cancellations, and refunds of an Apple-billed Subscription or DrivrShield AI Lite are covered by Section 20A and Apple’s terms.
27.2 Google. Google is not a party to these Terms and does not provide the App’s content, the Human Deal Analysis, or the Guarantee. Google Play in-app purchase is not offered at this time. If it is later offered, purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds made through Google Play will also be subject to Google Play terms and account controls.
27.3 No other store role. Apple and Google do not provide the Human Deal Analysis, the Deal Pass, or the $500 Potential Savings Guarantee. These Terms do not override mandatory store terms.
28. Feedback, reviews, and complaints
You may provide voluntary feedback, which we may use to improve the App without identifying you unless agreed otherwise. Nothing prohibits an honest review, a good-faith complaint, a report to a government agency, participation in an investigation, or a truthful statement about your experience.
Report an incorrect, harmful, privacy-invasive, discriminatory, unsafe, or mislabeled output to help@drivrshieldai.com. A material safety, account, or billing complaint is reviewed by an authorized person. We will not retaliate against a good-faith complaint.
29. Corrections and AI escalation
Report a material extraction, calculation, vehicle-identification, specification, source, history, or repair-range error to help@drivrshieldai.com. Include the output, the date, the source material, the disputed item, and the requested correction.
We may correct the answer, explain the limitation, remove content, escalate to a provider, or suspend a feature. A correction does not convert an App output into a Human Deal Analysis or a Guarantee-eligible result.
30. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access for payment failure, a credible security threat, prohibited use, material breach, a legal requirement, harm to the service or others, or misuse of third-party content. When practical, we will provide notice and a chance to correct an ordinary account or payment issue.
If we permanently end the Subscription without customer breach, we will stop future website billing, and for Apple, end renewals as App Store tools allow. We will also provide any refund or access required by the billing channel and law. If we permanently end DrivrShield AI Lite without customer breach, we will stop its future website billing and Apple renewals the same way, and you keep the Lite tools through the end of the period you already paid for. A suspended customer may appeal by emailing help@drivrshieldai.com.
31. Third-party services and content
Third-party reports, listings, ratings, specifications, repair data, app stores, payment services, websites, and integrations are governed by their own terms. We do not control their accuracy, availability, security, price, license, or conduct and are not responsible for an independent third party’s act or omission.
A link or reference is not an endorsement. If a paid core feature depends on an unavailable third-party service, we may offer a reasonable substitute, credit, refund, or termination as appropriate to the material effect and applicable rules.
Dealer Fee Index figures show what members’ paperwork listed. They are not a dealer’s official price list, a claim that a store did anything wrong, or a statement of what a store will charge you.
32. Disclaimer of warranties
These disclaimers do not exclude a right that applicable law does not allow to be disclaimed. The separate $500 Guarantee, when applicable to a human service, is governed only by its written rules and does not become a warranty for the App.
33. Limitation of liability
Liability for a separate human service is governed by its order terms and any express Guarantee. These limits do not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence where it cannot be limited, nonwaivable privacy or security liability, an express Guarantee obligation, or a right or remedy that law does not allow the parties to limit.
34. Limited customer indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify DrivrShield from a third-party claim resulting from your knowing submission of stolen, forged, unlawful, or infringing material; fraud or impersonation; prohibited commercial resale; or material violation of another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights.
This duty does not cover DrivrShield’s own negligence, misconduct, statutory violation, product design, or unauthorized use of content. We must provide prompt notice and reasonable participation rights.
35. Informal resolution and small claims
Before filing a claim, either party may send written notice describing the issue, the requested relief, and the relevant account or purchase. The receiving party has 30 days to investigate and attempt resolution. This process does not extend a deadline when law does not allow it or prevent urgent protective relief.
Either party may bring an eligible individual claim in small-claims court. You may also communicate with a government agency or use another process that cannot lawfully be restricted.
36. Dispute resolution
Except for eligible small-claims matters and claims that must be brought before a government agency, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there, subject to mandatory protections of your home state and nonwaivable rights. There is no mandatory pre-dispute arbitration agreement. Either party may bring an eligible claim in small-claims court. Nothing here limits your right to report issues to a government agency.
37. Florida governing law and nationwide rights
DrivrShield is based in Florida, and these Terms use Florida law as the contractual baseline. Federal law controls where applicable. Otherwise, Florida law governs without applying conflict-of-law rules.
Because the App is offered nationwide, the Florida choice does not eliminate a mandatory consumer protection provided by the law of your home state. If applicable law requires a different consent, cancellation method, notice, refund, forum, limitations period, privacy right, warranty rule, or remedy, that mandatory protection controls for you.
38. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms prospectively. We will post the effective date and provide required notice. A material change to recurring charges, cancellation, privacy use, dispute resolution, safety, an included paid service, the Guarantee boundary, or liability will not apply retroactively merely because it was posted.
Where new consent is required, the change will not apply until it is obtained. Otherwise, a materially adverse change affecting renewal will be disclosed with a direct cancellation method before the affected charge.
39. General provisions
These Terms, the subscription screen, the recurring-charge authorization, the Privacy Policy, and any separate order accepted for a human service are the entire agreement for their respective services. A separate human-service order does not change these Terms except where it expressly says so. For Apple purchases, Apple’s terms and the Apple Standard EULA also apply (Sections 20A and 27). The Guarantee Rules at /guarantee control for the Guarantee.
DrivrShield may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, reorganization, financing, or sale if the successor assumes the obligations and provides required notice. You may not transfer the Subscription or DrivrShield AI Lite. Delay is not waiver. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be narrowed only as needed and the remainder will continue.
