A value estimate, not an offer
The market value comes from comparable listings near your ZIP code, adjusted for mileage. It's an estimate for your planning: what to expect at trade-in time, or whether you have equity against your loan. It is not an offer to buy the car.
Email reminders
Emails for new recalls and service coming due are on the way. When they arrive, you'll turn them on per car, and they'll never say your car is affected by a recall it may not be.

Yes. The service schedule, logbook and recall checks are free for every car, and each car gets one free market-value estimate. The $19.99/month plan adds daily value refreshes, monthly reports, receipt photos and the ownership-record PDF.
Where does the service schedule come from?
From the manufacturer's published schedule where DrivrShield has it for your model, marked with its source, and typical intervals otherwise. Your owner's manual and the car's service display are the authority.
Is my VIN safe?
A VIN saved in the Garage is stored encrypted, and the app shows only its last four characters. To decode it and look up value, the full VIN is sent to NHTSA and to our market-data provider, as the Privacy Policy describes.
