Pin the scope first
Two quotes for "brakes" can describe different jobs. Before comparing prices, it helps to know exactly what's included:
- Pads only, or pads and rotors?
- Manufacturer (OEM) or aftermarket parts?
- How many labor hours, at what rate?
- Are shop supplies, disposal fees and tax included?

What it won't do
